¡¡¡¡¡¡Ayer entró en vigor el Registro de Huella de Carbono!!!!! Luz verde al nuevo Registro de Huella de Carbono

El 14 de Marzo se aprobó en el Consejo de Ministros el nuevo Real Decreto por el que se crea el Registro Nacional de Huella de Carbono, compensación y proyectos de absorción de dióxido de carbono.

Esto supone la creación del PRIMER SELLO OFICIAL que reconoce a las organizaciones que calculen y establezcan planes de reducción.

OBJETIVO DEL REAL DECRETO

Con esta plataforma se busca REDUCIR LAS EMISIONES DE GASES DE EFECTO INVERNADERO con el fin de cumplir los objetivos nacionales, estimulando a las empresas, incluido PYMES, para que calculen y reduzcan su huella de carbono. El registro se divide en tres:

  • Empresas que calculan su huella y fijan un plan de reducción.
  • Entidades y empresas que cuenten con proyectos forestales de absorción en España.
  • Relación de empresas que han compensado su huella con proyectos forestales registrados en territorio nacional.

¿QUÉ ES LA HUELLA DE CARBONO CORPORATIVA?

Es la CUANTIFICACIÓN DE EMISIONES de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI), medidas en emisiones de CO2 equivalentes, que son generadas por la actividad de una organización.

¿POR QUÉ REALIZAR SU CÁLCULO?

Primer paso para establecer una estrategia de reducción de emisiones, por tanto, una reducción en el consumo energético y en los costes económicos.
